Issue: While attempting to import a .qbo file into QuickBooks Desktop 2014 or older the program displays that the bank id cannot be verified or a Service Notice appears.
Explanation: Intuit sunsets their prior year software versions 2.5 years after their release year. As of May 31st 2017 all 2014 versions of QuickBooks Desktop are no longer supported and any web based functions such as payroll and the "Web Connector" will no longer function.
Fix: At this time, the only known correction for the issue is to have your client update to a newer version of QuickBooks. This challenge is not related to Ledgersync services and affects downloads taken directly from your institution as well.
Once the critical update that turns these features off has been installed, it will require a fresh install to attempt to revert back to a previous release. The 2014 download can be found here.
